Two Charity Anthologies for Ukraine

The other admins of Romantic Fantasy Shelf and I have organized TWO anthologies with all (100%) proceeds going to the International Rescue Committee to help Ukrainian refugees. I’m really passionate about this cause, in no small part because my family is in Poland, and I’m descended from two generations of refugees myself.

I can’t find the words to describe the atrocities Putin has caused the people of Ukraine, but like many of you, I wanted to do something about it, but felt helpless. The other admins and I thought long and hard about what we could do, and these two anthologies were our answer. Through our stories, and readers buying and sharing the word about them, we can raise money to support those who so desperately need it. None of us alone can put an end to this terror, but we can all do our part to help.

We’ve had over 80 authors (including Olivia Wildenstein, G. Bailey, Jen L. Grey, Eva Chase, Kel Carpenter & Aurelia Jane, Jeffe Kennedy and tons more) donate stories to these anthologies, as well as illustrators, designers, editors, and influencers donate their time and work. Both anthologies have stories with heat levels ranging from clean to steamy (each clearly marked).

I’d wanted to get a new short story finished in time for this, but it’s turned into a novella, so you’ll just have to wait until after The Dragon King for it. 🙂

But I have two sneak peeks, one in each anthology!

In Fierce Hearts, there’s an exclusive sneak peek of the first chapter of An Ember in the Dark (The Dark-Elves of Nightbloom), my upcoming fantasy romance featuring Dhuro’s warlord best friend, Dakkar, and his human captive-turned-lover, Lucia. You can’t read this chapter anywhere else.

If you haven’t been able to read my snarky romantic urban fantasy, Slay Date, on Patreon or Kindle Vella, you can check out the sneak peek of the first three chapters in Adamant Spirits.

Both anthologies are available on many retailers, including Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, etc. via ebook. Paperbacks will be coming late next month, and we might even have a very special surprise in May. *winks*

I hope you can pick up these anthologies today and spread the word everywhere you can–you’d be helping a great cause!
